John Zavolokin is the Managing Director and will roll up his sleeves with an intimate and thorough involvement in every project.

John occupies a unique position in the construction and property industry that equips him with skills and knowledge gathered from a diverse range of projects over the last 36 years.  John has a passion for Project Management and Construction and has an impeccable reputation for delivering on budget and ahead of schedule.

Following graduation from the University of NSW as a Civil Engineer, John commenced his career in the industry as a site engineer working on a number of significant and complex projects as notated in Section 3, Projects. This hands on experience in the early stages of his career provided an opportunity to appreciate the core fundamentals that drive successful projects viz; Time, Cost and Quality. This appreciation culminated in John, as the Project Director, leading the construction teams on many large projects.

John’s abilities offer a blend of practical know-how with credible experience and a very sound understanding of new technologies, being conversant with most of the systems applied in the Global Property Industry circuit.

His wider spectrum of experience has earned John an enviable standing in strategic management offering specialist advice in all matters relating to the Property industry and contract administration and has fulfilled the role of a specialist advisor on complex and large projects.  He has an unparalleled ability to solve problems and a very successful professional record in representing/advising Clients strategically and in detail on challenging projects.

John is without peer in Australia in terms of his leadership, planning, programming and buildability expertise as well as his passion to mentor and develop careers of those fortunate enough to be part of his team. He has developed, established and developed training programs to many industry tier 1 and tier 2 Contractors as well as lecturing at Sydney University in the School of Project Management.

John has developed materials handling and construction strategies for many large scale major projects in Australia and his skills have been recognised by the industry with his involvement on a large number of projects in a constructive role in risk mitigation on both Client and Contractor side.

His intimate knowledge of the construction industry allows him to freely move between and share his experiences with a wide range of stakeholders i.e. Financiers, Developers, Design Consultants, Contractors and Sub-Contractors. John also worked in the retirement industry, building a significant portfolio of retirement villages along the east coast of Australia and fulfilling the role of managing director for Living Choice Australia. With his passion to customer service and a profound and intuitive sense for stakeholder needs and wants, he developed innovative reform to offer a more effective and responsive delivery of services to the residents whilst simultaneously increasing the portfolio with construction and development of over 2000 homes within 2 years.
